MEET OUR BILL MATTHEWS

Bill Matthews is a forty-year-old ex-Navy veteran who has fallen on hard times due to his alcoholism and is estranged from his family. Bill is scrounging for loose change when he encounters Billy, and discovers he is his son that he left twenty years ago. Bill decides to spend the day with Billy, bonding with the son he never knew, but soon the secret reveals itself and Bill has to face the truth – leading to a trip to A&E and a reunion with Julie. Bill can see how Billy seems to be heading down the same path as him, and ultimately tries to begin to make amends and reconcile with Billy.
